Oh wait, this is not a short and great cartoon, like in the previous blogging born thing. It’s a long text written by @Dom one of Twitter founder. If you are into this addiction of 140-characters messaging services, just like me, well be prepared to the history.

How Twitter Was Born

I was lucky enough to be in @Jack’s group, where he first described a service that uses SMS to tell small groups what you are doing.

It’s funny his #38 updates was: “oh this is going to be addictive”. Is that a great prophecy?

Oh and look at this plain twitter early page.

Is that great how great product born with such very simple idea (and yet it just simple idea until this day), and just launched it. You never know what people thinking with, who care what I am doing? Make it a million people and that’s great thing.

Well, thanks for sharing it @Dom. I am still hoping twitter growth, and be profitable, as I enjoyed it much to share or mark some of my own bit of history :)
