Design is not about Photoshop
Well, it’s finally culminating…
After reading 37signals’ post about why they skip photoshop, as a man who do work as front engineer I can’t agree more. And with the blood of a bit of designer
This is definitely inappropriate. In my opinion, Photoshop played a role for all work flow especially in web development industry. May be you can skip a while photoshop, but just denying all you have done is inappropriate.
A better work flow eventually separating all process in a different arena. So, designer can have their dream place, and so front end engineer, and then developer. Well, better architecture and work flow take the most role here, but everyone knows we can not avoid revisions, and revisions again. It’s normal in every work process.
So, well, this day I read the post from fellow designer commenting it. Here from Mark Boulton, Jeff Croft, and Jon Hicks one.
